I have been having way too much fun
decorating my new office. Recently I stumbled across Torie Jayne's Pretty Pen Pots Tutorial and immediately ate 3 cans of green beans. Not only is this project super simple,
it is inexpensive yet makes a huge statement.
So here we go…
You Will Need:
- Empty tin can(s)
- Empty tin can(s)
- Scrapbook
paper
- Double
sided sticky tape
- Scissors
- Glue {optional}
Step
1: Eat
3 cans worth of food. Wash and dry the empty tin cans very well. Step 2: Using the label from the can as
a template, trace and cut out a piece of scrapbook paper the size of your can. Step 3: Add strips of double sided
tape to your paper and roll onto can. Step 4 {Optional}: Seal the end of the strip with a dab of glue. Step 5: Fill with pretty pens!

ReplyDeleteAfter I saw this I literally tried to think of a recipe that used a ton of cans. I think I'm going to make a couple in varying sizes (big canned tomatoes for all the Sharpies and a little one for paper clips). Thanks for the inspiration
