Hey there! Sorry for the hiatus
this week. I am finally getting the hang of the new laptop. I forgot how much
work it is to set all your settings, organize all your documents, bookmark your
favorites, transfer everything from the old to the new, etc. Also, thanks for
all of the "back up" recommendations.
Okay, let's get right down to
business. A few things I'm loving lately...
L'Oreal's Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain: I
am a total sucker for good commercials, so when I saw L'Oreal's new lip stain
advertisement I immediately had to have it in “Pink Resistance.” I love how
much longer it lasts on my lips than other lip glosses. Even after a full meal,
the shine fades but the color definitely stays. For $7.99, I highly recommend
picking up a tube during your next Target run.
Ingredients:
4 Ripe Avocados
2 Limes, juiced
1 Roma Tomato, diced
1 Small Red Onion, diced
1 Jalapeno, deseeded and diced
1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Kosher Salt to Taste
Mix
all of the ingredients together until well blended.
Snow! We had our first {and probably only} snow in Charlotte last
weekend. It was so fun to see our home covered in 3 inches of white powdery
snow for the first time. And I wasn't the only person excited for
a snow day…
New laptop: When did
Toshiba start packaging their laptops in pizza boxes?
Bagel Sandwiches: My new
lunch go-to for the week, sans turkey. I start with an everything bagel thin
and add a layer of Trader Joes White Bean Hummus, a thick tomato slice, alfalfa sprouts, a thin
slice of provolone, avocado and whatever else I can find in
the fridge.

How flipping cute is your pup in his coat?
ReplyDeleteHow are you liking the new toshiba, Win8 aside? I was laptop shopping yesterday and most of the salespeople were recommending them. I have an hp right now that I was happy with up until recently...it's lasted me about 4 years.
