I can honestly say that this past Thanksgiving has been my most favorite yet. I've never felt happier or more blessed to have all of our family in one place.
For our tablescape I decided to go with gold and cranberry colors, pinecones, baby's breath and burlap!
The smartest choice I made when setting our table was the upscale disposable china plates! Not only are these plates and silverware super durable, but after dinner we all just tossed our plates in the trash eliminating lots of extra clean up!
Baby Size: The baby is a size of a sweet potato, my favorite veggie! (5.5 inches long, 6 oz)!
Weight gain: up another pound to 119
Maternity clothes: I stocked up on Black Friday at Gap and Destination Maternity!
Stretch marks: Not yet. Crossing my fingers and using my creams every night!
Sleep: Amazing!
Gender: A sweet baby GIRL! I still can't believe it! It feels so good to know who our baby is - Caroline Grace Marcellino!
Movement: I have to really concentrate and be super still to feel a little flutter.
Best moment this week: I don't know - our Gender Reveal Party, hosting our families for Thanksgiving, our doctors appointment and ultrasound! It has been such an amazing week full of celebrations! Our hearts are overflowing with happiness!
Looking forward to: Buying lots of bows and monogrammed things!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really. I can tolerate chicken again.
Labor Signs: Will start answering this in about 26 weeks...
What I miss: Hmm, maybe a real glass of wine at Thanksgiving.
Symptoms: Growing belly, dry skin and heartburn!
Nursery: We ordered our crib and rocker on Black Friday! We knew we wanted a classic and simple crib so we decided to go with the Kendall Petite Crib {on sale from Pottery Barn} since Caroline has such a short momma! And I am so in love with the Wingback Convertible Rocker {on sale from Pottery Barn} we picked out. It is absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and converts to a traditional armchair.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: I can't stop smiling.
Workouts: Just one workout this week. I blame Thanksgiving.
Prayer for Caroline:
Dear Lord, I thank you for our sweet little Caroline Grace who you are making so wonderfully. As her uterus and fallopian tubes develop this week, I pray for her sexual purity. Help me to teach her to follow Your ways, and give me wisdom to answer tough questions. Make her strong against temptation and the pull of the world. Instill Scriptures in her heart so that she does not sin against You, as Proverbs 119:11 says. In Jesus' name.

Thanksgiving was such a perfect day to celebrate our baby gender! Having both families in our home was so wonderful and we couldn't have been more thankful.
For weeks I carried around the envelope that contained the gender of our baby and although all of my girlfriends said I'd peek inside, I held strong and knew I'd be happier finding out with those I love most around me! It was so worth the wait!
Matt and I chose to sport both pink and blue for the special occasion since we would be happy with either gender!
For the record, I predicted with 100% confidence that I am carrying a boy. No doubt about it. The intense meat cravings? I just knew we had lots of blue in our future. Matt on the other hand wavered back and forth a bit but decided on girl in the end.
We decided ahead of time that if Baby M was a girl the grandma's would open the envelope containing her name, and if Baby M was a boy the grandpa's would have the honors.
On to the cake cutting..
And of course we had the whole thing videotaped...
We're having a sweet baby GIRL and we couldn't be more excited {or shocked}! We're naming her in memory of my mom, Caroline, who passed away when I was 5 years old, and Grace is Matt's Great Grandmother's name.
