Last Christmas, MM and I went home to Florida for the holidays to see my family, like usual. One of my besties has a birthday on Christmas Eve, and every year without fail we celebrate! Well, this past year when I showed up at her “birthday party” I was very pleasantly surprised to walk into my surprise engagement party, hosted and flawlessly planned by my lil sis {MOH} and bridesmaids! It was one of the best nights of my life and I will NEVER forget it!

In sisterly fashion, I set out to return the favor, and made it my mission to pull off the ultimate surprise engagement party for Lindsey and Ryan. Meticulously planning every detail over the course of 3 months, the weekend finally arrived! MM and I got to my parents house in Orlando on Friday night and spent the entire next day preparing for the party. Meanwhile, Lindsey and Ryan were distracted with wedding venue shopping, but had plans to come over to my parents house for drinks after dinner. As planned, Lindsey and Ryan showed up at 8:45 p.m., completely unaware that 33 of their favorite friends and family hiding in the kitchen...

The very next morning, we all piled into the car and drove to Cocoa Beach for our SECOND surprise party of the weekend...Grandpa's 80th birthday! Every day Grandpa eats lunch {at 11:00 a.m.} at his favorite lunch spot, Grilles Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar. 18 of us got there super early to reserve tables and wait for his arrival...
