Baby Size: The baby is a size of a peach (3 inches long).
Weight gain: Up another pound, coming in at 112.5. Pretty sure all my weight gain is from carbs so far.
Maternity clothes: I picked up a shirt and a pair of leggings from Gap this week. Old Navy was also running a huge sale online so I stocked up on tunics, jeans and dresses. I got 12 items for $75!
Sleep: For some reason I have been waking up at 2 or 3 a.m. to tinkle and have the hardest time going back to sleep. I toss and turn for at least 2 hours afterwards. Matt thinks it's because I'm going to bed at 8 pm. Eek!
Best moment this week: This week we received so many cards and packages in the mail that I can't stop smiling. From frosted animal crackers to car mirrors for the baby, our mailman has been busy!
Looking forward to: Halloween and our anniversary trip! We have some friends staying with us Halloween night and can't wait to hang out on the porch catching up and passing out candy to all the cute trick-or-treaters! Then on Friday morning Matt, Charlie and I are hitting the road for a nice cabin weekend in the mountains! We are so excited to celebrate two years with our growing family!
What I miss: Nothing really.
Movement: Not yet...
Food cravings: Still eating tons of carbs {bagels, pastas and french fries}. Also, I owe Mel, McKinsey, Laura, Meghan and Cristina a huge shout out {and thank you from baby M} for letting us change our weekly Tuesday night dinner date from Panera to IHOP so I could stuff my face with pancakes. You girls are the BEST!
Gender: I thought it was a boy last week, but after reading all of your comments I am back to thinking it's a girl...
Labor Signs: Will start answering this in about 28 weeks...
Symptoms: After I eat a large meal I stay full for a very long time these days.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Happy, happy, happy!
Nursery: I started seriously thinking about the nursery this week. Matt's going to kill me when he finds out what sort of projects I have in mind.
Workouts: Using the elliptical more than ever, and of course I am still attending Cardio Funk dance class on Fridays.
Prayer for Baby:

You are so cute!!!! So happy for y'all!

LOVE your shirt!!!! I am 28 weeks pregnant (and so my belly is much more "pumpkin shaped" than yours!) and think I can something similar for Halloween! Thanks for the inspiration :) Also, your weekly prayers are such a blessing to me and a sweet reminder to surrender my baby to the Lord each and every day. Do you write them yourself or is there a devotional that you are getting inspiration from?
ReplyDeleteYour shirt is just too much! Yay!
ReplyDeleteAww you are so adorable in that pumpkin shirt! Love the sweet prayer at the end!
ReplyDeleteYour belly pic is just adorable! Love the pumpkin shirt. And I got up a lot in the beginning, too. Then it kind of goes away until the middle of the third trimester. My husband and I finally switched back to our original sides of the bed last night since I got him to switch since his side was next to the bathroom haha. But, last night ironically, I just switched our pillows and we went back to that, haha.
ReplyDeletei love reading these updates. So cute. I really hope it is a girl because I will just die over a girl nursery you put together. Selfish much, yes :)
ReplyDeletesuch a GREAT shirt!!!

ReplyDeleteI like that you typed the following: pray our child will grow up and speak only positive and encouraging words, and to avoid gossip and criticism. WONDERFUL PRAYER - visit my link and look on the right. Their are two beautiful children - one holding her finger against her mouth....shhhh - the other child whispering in her ear. There is a link that goes to this picture. I always love to learn something new. I am sure you will appreciate it also. http://geula613.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI love this.. especially the prayer. No baby for us this month so I'm going to live vicariously through you!!
ReplyDeleteLove that pumpkin shirt!! I ate pancakes non-stop when I was pregnant and I had a boy! I swear they tasted 100x better then.
ReplyDeleteI love love love the prayer that your wrote for your baby! How sweet is that? Something you can hold on to forever!
ReplyDeleteI am about a month ahead of you, due in mid-April, and had the same thing with not being able to fall back to sleep after an early morning bathroom break. That went away around week 15, so hope is on the horizon. I also got one of the full body maternity pillows (I got the boppy one, but there are a few other brands) and that also really helped me sleep better.
ReplyDeleteThat was a beautiful prayer for your baby! The verse is also one that is helpful to everyday life for all of us!
ReplyDeleteAww...your shirt is too cute! Love the Prayer For Baby. And at least you don't have to worry about running out of stretch mark cream anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteI love your weekly prayers for your bundle of joy! So sweet.
