Week 15 Bumpdate

What a great week it's been so far! I'd even say it's been our favorite yet! I finally feel like I really "popped" this week and can no longer hide my bump, so I've totally started embracing it with tighter clothing. We also had our Christmas photos taken over the weekend and I got super emotional looking back on our sneak peek pictures. I just feel so incredibly blessed to have a healthy babe on the way and a super-dad of a husband. Life is so good!

  How far along: 15 weeks!
Baby Size: The baby is a size of a navel orange! Yes, an ORANGE (4.5 inches long, 2 - 3 oz)! Our lil babe is growing so fast. I can't believe this week she will get her hair and skin tone!
Weight gain: Do I really have to keep answering this? Up another pound this week...115.
Maternity clothes: Oh yes. I made the mistake of trying to wear regular panty hose for our photoshoot and realized 10 minutes before walking out the door that they were not going to work. I felt like they were cutting my bump in half and I could barely breathe. So I had to make an emergency trip to Target to get maternity hose and oh-my-gosh they are heavenly!
  Stretch marks: Not yet. Using my creams every night!
Sleep: I picked up a set of cute flannel sheets at Target last week and have been sleeping like a champ ever since. They are so warm and cozy!   Gender: Okay - big update! Matt and I decided that our appointment on November 27 is just too risky to find out the gender since we want to celebrate the next day with our family. We know we would be really sad if the baby "hides" during our U/S or it's still too early for the tech to reveal, so we've decided to go ahead and book a gender check ultrasound (at the advice of my Charlotte bloggy friends) for TODAY! Apparently this place can check as early as 15 weeks and guarantees the gender! However, we've decided to wait to open the envelope until our family is all together for Thanksgiving!
Best moment this week: Definitely having our Christmas pictures taken. We had a blast and I can't wait to reveal all of our photos from the shoot!
Looking forward to: Our ultrasound appointment this afternoon!!! He or she? What will baby M be?!
What I miss: Nothing really. I do miss tuna in my sushi but have been really enjoying vegetarian rolls instead!
Movement: Not yet...

Food cravings: This week I've been loving cereal, bagels, Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, donuts and still anything with carbs!   Anything making you queasy or sick: Still saying NO to chicken.
Labor Signs: Will start answering this in about 26 weeks...

Symptoms: Thanks for all the comments last week about round ligament pain! That is definitely what I am experiencing! And this week I have a new symptom - congestion at night. I finally decided to purchase some breathe right strips out of desperation.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Feeling ridiculously happy and blessed knowing we will soon know if we are having a boy or girl!
Nursery: Just a few more weeks before we start working on this! We've decided on a rocker for the nursery and I am hoping to snag it during the Black Friday sales. I've also been pinning away on my Nursery Pinboard!  
Workouts: Elliptical workouts 3 days this week and a yoga class.
Prayer for Baby:   Dear Lord, we pray for our baby's hair and skin this week. As our child grows, I pray she will be pleased with the traits you've blessed her with. You are a wonderful, loving God. Your word says that you even know the number of hairs on our head, and I know that means You are concerned with every detail of us. Thank you for caring and loving us so much!
