As promised, I have a little nursery update for y'all today! I am finally sharing Caroline's mini closet makeover!
As soon as we found out our babe was a girl we knew what that would mean...tons of clothes! Sure enough, right away we started receiving weekly shipments of dresses from my girlfriends and the grandmas. When I asked Matt if we could add some storage to the closet he didn't even question me about it. He knew we'd need it so he immediately called our affordable handyman, Hector, to build us some cubbies and add an additional
rod for clothes.

This is exactly what I want to do to my daughter's closet! She only had one closet rod and the above shelf. You will have plenty of storage now with those cubbies and so much room for clothes. Great idea, it looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! That's what we're doing now to each of our closets when we re-do the rooms... adding storage space!! It makes such a difference!

ReplyDeleteIt's perfect!! We added one of those 4 cube cubby systems to our son's closet for extra storage and it's been a great help in keeping things organized. Glad to see you have some giraffe blankets for her! Those are the softest!

ReplyDeleteOh I'm so jealous of those cubbies! We're in the midst of nursery closet organization ourselves and have added a second half shelf/rod and I've picked up cubical style cubbies to help with smaller storage at the bottom. I'll need lots of storage baskets, as I have a cubby book shelf in the room and our changing table has cubbies, so I'm regularly stalking Home Goods and TJMaxx for basket options! So fun seeing all those sweet little clothes just waiting for her, looks great!

So adorable!!! I STILL stare into C's closet and look at all of her little things. Makes me so happy. :) And I have that pregnancy journal on the bottom shelf! Love all of her little things... getting closer!
