ReplyDeleteI have not tried that foundation, but that sale price sure makes me want to. Definitely curious to see what you think about it! And I had no idea that C. Wonder was closing? I wonder why? Are they also closing down their online shops? So sad!:( Have so much fun at the baby shower, sweet friend. With your creative eye, I know it will be the cutest! Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteI've tried all three of the Philosophy foundations! My favorite is the Hope in a Jar, it's so creamy and lasts all day. The Miracle Worker is great too, I use it in the summer because of the added sunscreen. I actually returned the powder foundation (I forget what it's called) because it was awkward to use and did nothing for my dry skin. Enjoy the sale!

ReplyDeleteExcited about the Ulta sale! I was planning on going there today for something else, but now I'll wait for tomorrow. I'm in need of some more Hope in a Jar. So...as far as baby food making goes, I basically did the same thing as you. I had hopes to make my own, but the packets were so easy and convenient. I started him with some of those and then once I got around to actually making his food he didn't like mine. Then I was pissed!!! I questioned my food making for a minute (maybe I should have taken the skin off those sweet potatoes and apples, etc) and then I started questioning what the heck are in those packets that make them like it so much?? Anyway, now Brody is 18 months old and still loves those packets. Keep trying your homemade food with Caroline and hopefully you can make her adapt!! It's a frustrating process sometimes :(

ReplyDeleteWith my last babe I made allll his baby food. Not so sure I can do it with the third but I do enjoy making as much as possible. I will have to check out the tutorial. Since my first I've used the book Super Baby Food. I've never tried Philosophy but my mom loves it. I do think Ulta has the best sales. Over Christmas I got a free Essie nail polish and super soft robe with a $40 purchase (and 15% cashback ;) ).
ReplyDeleteI've been making Camille's food and I'd love to swap recipes with you! I recently blended up some kiwi and froze it in cubes. I think I was supposed to wait until she is 8 months to debut kiwi (whoops) but she just loves it! I'll make a mixture of two red apple cubes and two kiwi cubes, throw in a little oatmeal cereal, she loves it!
ReplyDeleteThe thai chicken looks good! I'm also making my 6 month old's baby food. I freeze ice cubes of some things to add to oatmeal, but also make my own pouches. I've been using the Infantino Squeeze Station to make them. It's the easiest for on the go (with the spoon attachment), and she loves it!

ReplyDeleteso funny, I hate spending money on my hair too. I have blonde hair but have to get highlights a couple times a year, so usually I get two nice hair cuts a year with my highlights and that is it. Also love that bach set up.
