Five on Friday!

Happy Friday! You know the drill...

- ONE - Pumpkin & Pirate Donuts from Krispy Kreme. Yesterday, if you talked like a pirate you got a free donut. If you dressed like a pirate, you got a dozen free donuts! If I had known ahead of time I would have absolutely dressed like a pirate for 12 donuts.  Heck, I'd probably do it for just one donut. The only thing better than a donut is a free donut.
 - TWO - My newest fall accessory for work - a mini pumpkin!
- THREE - Earlier this week I came home to the sweetest surprise on my front porch from a good friend - a yellow mum!
- FOUR - Our fall bible study just started up and I am loving the new book we're reading!
- FIVE - My birthday is Wednesday and I just received my first gift - Chanel nail polish and lip gloss! My mother-in-law is the BEST!

    I have been wanting to read that Nancy Leigh DeMoss book for quite some time now!! You'll have to keep us posted on how you like it!

    We accidentally went to Krispy Kreme yesterday and were so confused by the line wrapping the building! But we totally went through the drive through and got our free donuts for talking like pirates!

    SHUT YOUR MOUTH. NO really, that donut goodness is just not fair!!! I want a pirate donut and I really want the chance to talk like a pirate because that... well, that is just freaking hilarious. Brilliant!

    Also, are your friends and mother-in-law looking for new friends / new daughters-in-law because they sound stellar. :))

    Lastly, that's exciting about your fall Bible study! I've been on the lookout for one, but haven't seen any announcements!

    Drake has the most adorable pirate costume from a few Halloweens ago. Wonder if I could have borrowed his hat with a parrot on it, or better yet, dressed him up to take him! He can bark like a pirate, I'm sure of it!

    My mother-in-law also buys the best gifts! I bet you feel really lucky to have her in your life. :) Nothing worse than not getting along with your in-laws!

    I really wanted a Krispy Creme donut yesterday! If I had known there weer actually pirate donuts I would have searched for the nearest one. How fun!

    Oh my goodness! I love that pirate donut! I wish we still had a Krispy Kreme store here :( I would totally dress like a pirate! I also do the cow day at Chic-Fil-A to get free chicken nuggets lol.
    I used to be a youth leader and we went through the lies young women believe with our small group and it was great, I am sure you will love that one!

    Our Bible study is on the last chapter of Lies Women Believe, and it has been an incredible journey! Don't let some of the subheadings and "lies" fool you if you think they might not apply to your life personally. When you dig into each lie, you might notice that even though you KNOW it is a lie, you live your life acting in a way that says you don't believe it. It's the coolest thing to have your eyes opened to reveal a hidden sin pattern like that and know that God has the fullest power and grace to cover and redeem! I hope to hear bits and pieces along the way--enjoy!

    That donut is too cute! I'd love to know what you think of "Lies Women Believe." I did a study on that a couple years ago... I thought some things were great but I felt like other areas the author was pushing her own personal agenda.

    i'm with you friend...i would do ALMOST anything for free KK doughnuts!!! talk like a pirate...fine by me!!

    as for the pumpkin, there will be everywhere at my house as soon as i have time to go to the nursery to snatch up a bunch
