My Christmas cards are officially out the door! I credit free recipient addressing from Minted for helping me get them out so much faster than I had anticipated. Never again will I take the time to write out all my addresses {and waste half of my envelopes}.
So now that the cards are on their way to lots of mailboxes of friends and family I thought I'd share some of the highlights from our Christmas shoot earlier this season. I love our photos this year - Caroline has joined our family, my hair looks dang good and I am pretty pumped about how our matchy outfits turned out on such last minute notice. But truth be told, all blessings and thankfulness aside, this year had lots of sucky moments too. So before you scroll through all of these picture perfect photos that make it look like we have it all together, just know that we really don't. For those of you who've been following awhile, you know some of the scares we've faced and there's been lots of other deeply sad and scary moments that just didn't make the blog.
But between countless diaper changes, ridiculous medical bills and bottomless baskets of laundry, we have experienced so much joy with our sweet Caroline Grace. She is pretty awesome and we love her with our whole hearts. So today I'm showcasing some happy and shiny moments as a family of three now.
Without further ado, our 2014 family Christmas Card...
And a huge thank you to the talented Lindsey Regan Thorne for covering up my postpartum hair loss and dry, flaky skin, and Allison Kuhn Photography for her patience with the mini and capturing these pretty pictures! These ladies are rock stars, the best in the {wedding} industry really and I'm lucky to call them friends.

What a beautiful family! Have a very Merry Christmas with your little one =)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Caroline is so darling. And thanks for the disclaimer - this was the best year of my life thanks to our son, but it has had it's difficult growing pains and also some extremely difficult decisions, moments, and harsh realities for myself and my extended family.
