Matt turns 35 on Wednesday! I am crossing my fingers that Thomas decides to arrive a little early and share a birthday with his dad. We'll see...
Over the long weekend we spent a lot of time on last minute baby preparations and errands but also sprinkled in a little early birthday celebration for Matt too. We had Friday off from work so we scheduled his birthday dinner at one of our very favorite restaurants, Good Food on Montford. This place never disappoints. We stuffed our faces with 6 plates of food and even managed to squeeze in Snickers blizzards on the way home. After all, this may be our last night out as just the two of us for quite awhile.
Matt found his birthday gift earlier that day while cleaning out my car so I decided not to make him wait until Wednesday to open it. A few days earlier I snagged a pair of Southern Marsh Seersucker Swim Trunks during a major 4th of July sale at The Sporting Gent. Since Matt loves anything seersucker, it was no surprise that he loved his gift!
On Saturday we relaxed at home, grilled Cabernet burgers for dinner and I baked a golf themed birthday cake...
Our little 4th of July BBQ...

Good luck, such an exciting time!
