- FIVE - I am absolutely addicted to Starbuck's Passion Tea. This week Starbuck's was offering half off drinks between 3-5 pm so Mel and I made sure to take advantage of the deal every single day with a venti sized tea.

Matt ... he is definitely winning points here! Tell him to swing by my house on his way and drop off a french toast coffee for me too! :) How sweet is he?!
ReplyDeleteThat dinner looks delic! And what a sweet hubby. Coffee in bed every morning sounds amazing.
ReplyDeleteMissed seeing you last night. Hope you can come to the next meet-up! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo excited to get my hands on this book too! Thanks for sharing and have a super weekend x
ReplyDeleteNew follower to your blog! Loving this linkup and that bracelet! Oh my gah!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Passion tea! Happy to finally be linking up with you ladies!
ReplyDeleteLoving that bracelet! J. Crew factory has had the best sales lately. Girl, I hate prepping the coffee pot, too. Invest in a Keurig - it eliminates all the yucky clean up and you can get a reusable pod that is a breeze to clean to hold your favorite coffee.
ReplyDeleteThat JCrew bracelet is super cute and I am also obsessed with Starbuck's Passion Tea Lemonade.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely invest in a Keurig! No prep, ridiculously easy cleanup and a huge variety of coffee types and flavors - you can try three in one day! I read The Happiness Project last year but I'm thinking of re-reading it, it was such a great book!
ReplyDeleteOkay, is Matt trying to give my hubs a run for his money {totally sharing the morning coffee story so maybe he'll up his game}. Hahaha!!! But really, that is so sweet ---- what I would give for 1/2 of that willpower to make it to a 5:30 workout! It would be record breaking if that happened once or twice a year here at our little casa! ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for the coffee ---- I hear ya! Morning coffee is a MUST! And I completely agree with Elizabeth about the Keurig. Absolute game changer and it's just SO EASY. The last year I was working I bought a skinny vanilla latte at Starbucks 5 days a week. $4 a day X 5 week days X 52 weeks a year = over $1,000 annually! It never dawned on me how much I was spending until I got the Keurig! It was just my routine and I loved them! Cason bought me a Keurig that Christmas and I've never looked back. You'll truly save some $ w/ a Keurig and all of the k-cups are so fun (lemonade, nutty hazelnut iced coffee - my fave, chai lattes, etc).
As for your healthy eating, please teach me your ways....your "protein plate" looks really, really good!
Happy Friday, sweet friend....loved reading your 'five" and likely should have just emailed ya instead of writing this short story. Word.
I NEED that bracelet! So adorable on you with your new watch!
ReplyDeleteiiii wanna work in uptown and have tea dates too!
ReplyDeleteps. just got a crazy email from jcrew promoting 50% off. so much for saving money for summer vacay!
Matt is putting all the other guys to shame! haha I agree that once i decide to go to bed, any extra task seems like the worst thing ever, coffee prepping included!!
ReplyDeleteCoffee/tea in bed is THE way to start the morning! Hubby knows what's up!
ReplyDeleteYour protein plate is such a good idea to stock up on and have around for easy dinners- genius!
I took advantage of the half priced drinks this week too. love them! I even planned my little one's naps around 3pm so I could get there and not wait forever in line. I may have an addiction!
ReplyDeleteYour husband is so sweet to bring you coffee in bed every morning! I should mention that to my husband. ha! I have coffee in bed every morning with my son while we watch a few cartoons---it's my favorite time of day!
ReplyDeleteYour plate pic on IG forced me to buy sweet potatoes at the grocery store this week. They looked delicious!
ReplyDeleteHatred of coffee making forced my hand into a Keurig.
LOVE the bracelet! Curious, how do you roast your sweet potatoes?
ReplyDeleteCoffee in bed...go hubby! We use our coffee pot to make tea and it is a pain to clean!!
ReplyDeleteLove that bracelet, went to the outlets last week and they were out so I need to order it online.
That food looks perfect for any time of the day. Have a great weekend! xo
wow, that bracelet looks precious!!!! Iam stuck to chai tea latte or tazo tea. I need to try the passion tea!
ReplyDeletegirl! if your mister didn't serve you coffee in bed every morning, i'd totally recommend getting yourself a keurig but since he does, you're obviously doing something right! haha xo
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness... I love that J Crew bracelet... may have to get one myself. Looks great with your watch, too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that bracelet and beyond jealous of the coffee delivery. :) Will be copying that protein packed dinner soon!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is much worse than prepping the coffee pot. Except maybe...emptying the dishwasher. That is a real close second.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I hate more than prepping the coffee pot the night before is packing my lunch the night before. Why are these such daunting tasks? BTW I luurve that J. Crew Factory bracelet, and it looks great paired with your watch!
ReplyDeleteI have been obsessed with the Passion Tea lately. It is such a great summery drink. The bracelet/watch combo looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat coffee quote is hilarious. I am always up hours before my hubby so literally I always make my own coffee. I would cry if someone brought me some!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that JCrew bracelet, looking into it now. So sparkly!
I LOVE your Michael Kors watch (and that bracelet!). I am asking the hubs for a MK watch for my bday. Wish me luck. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe bracelet is $18 today and I am adding it to my cart! thanks for the tip! ;) And I have heard that book is a must read... I think it's time to add it to my list. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteSo great that you get coffee in the morning. I felt the same way about making coffee then when I got pregnant I switched to tea. It's easier. My husband puts on the water.
ReplyDeleteI linked up again.
Oh my gosh, the coffee stuff cracks me up. Sooooo me! My hubs does NOT drink coffee!!! I can't ever get over that. I can't even relate to anyone until I have had my coffee in the am. I am obsessed with my Keruig for that reason...All I have to do is make sure it's full of water and then I pop in a k-cup and it's ready in seconds. It's the little things!! Would LOVE coffee delivered to me though. That would be amazing! Cheers to Friday! xo, Ashley
ReplyDeleteI agree with Laura, packing my lunch the night before/morning is my least favorite thing. I can handle the coffee because we have a Keurig.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of coffee in bed! :) & your dinner looks delicious, have a great weekend!
