A
few weeks ago I received this email from a CBS This Morning News Associate inquiring
about the details of my Pinterest Party I hosted last August to roll pom-poms for
my wedding ceremony:
Hi Christina,
My name is Lorie, and I work at the
morning show CBS This Morning.
We are working on a
segment about Pinterest, and I came across your blog entry about a “Pinterest
Party” you had recently hosted. We love what you and your friends did with the
recipes and crafts. Would it be possible to use the photos you posted on your blog
to illustrate how women across America are using Pinterest as inspiration?
Would you also be able to send us high-res copies of the photos? We will
certainly credit your photos accordingly. Thank you, and please feel free to
contact me if you have any questions.
Best,
Lorie
Of course I jumped on this opportunity to share my pinddiction with the rest of the world and immediately emailed her a bunch of pictures from my Pinterest Party!
Here
is the segment CBS This Morning ran last week on how Pinterest turns virtual ideas into reality:
Did you see me?! Did you see me?! No? That's okay, neither did I the first 4 times I watched it. Apparently this other girl was waayyy cooler than me. However, I did get my 2 seconds of blurry national fame on the map, representing North Carolina!
You famous girl, you famous!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pink!!! xoxo
That's so awesome! You are totally famous now and can say you were on the national news!
ReplyDeleteSo cool!!! I love this!! Way to represent! Very happy for you girl!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! My blog bestie 'I Do Declare' made national news for her Royal Wedding Party.
ReplyDeleteCheck it out!
They googled and found her blog.. that's how it all came about.
