Hope you all had a happy Easter! Matt and I spent the weekend with his family in Winston-Salem, NC and it was absolutely wonderful. Since I am feeling particularly lazy, here is a recap in {mostly} photos!
Before we left for Winston, I homemade my first carrot cake! It was a TON of work, but I was really happy with how it turned out {and tasted}! Apparently everyone else thought it turned out pretty good too because we only brought a teeeny sliver back home. I promise to post the recipe this week!
I also treated myself to a shellac Easter pink manicure. I am not sure how I feel about the new "paint one nail a different color" trend...but somehow I was convinced to go sparkly on my ring finger. I am still undecided as to whether or not I like it.

Saturday, Mrs. M and I had fun dying sparkly Easter eggs! We even wrapped rubber bands around the eggs to create a fun design.
Later that evening we attended St. Leo's Easter Vigil
And of course, we watched the Masters allll weekend long. How adorable is Bubba Watson?!
How was your Easter?!
